my brazillian dates

It was year 1994 and i , for the first time in mine ten years on this planet ,was allowed to watch on TV, which din't belonged to religious soaps category. Well, it was FIFA world cup(golden days of Doordarshan, it was everything then). Me and mine Taya ji would keep on glued to our good old black and white TV set then, watching every game. i was football illiterate those days, so i would keep on asking millions of stupid questions to tayaji whole day. His favourite team was Brazil and as i din't knew anything about other teams, it automatically become mine too. Since then, no matter what the conditions are on field, this heart has been Brazillian forvever. Come 98 and it was France that year, Doordarshan still aired them live and despite being reprimanded daily by my parents,  i would keep myself awake each day and  watched my favourite teams play. some books..

well, finished  reading some books in last two weeks... most touchy was 'the diary of a young girl' by  Anne Frank. For years i have heard that death is  the ultimate reality...truth which will happen for sure but even then each among us walks believing that nothing gonna happen to us ever ,but for me ,i think this inherrent aspect of us towards life sets us apart from other species . This never say die attitude of ours  makes us what we are today.  This book is based on the  diary of the  writer written in 1942-44 under the  shadows of  Nazi rule in Holland. The most important thing  for me was  the level of thinking of the writer at the tender  age of  13 and the impact of greed and lunacy of some guys at the top on the lives of  innocent people. while, i couldn't help imagining the horrors of living in a small apartment for two years under the constant possibility of being caught by t...
